Piri's Outdoor Pursuits
About Piri Allergy
Piri are allergy experts and have 60 years experience in developing products to help tackle all these symptoms. Within the range there are a choice of treatments to suit the whole family; including Pirinase (suitable for 18 years+), a nasal spray which works directly at the source, and Piriteze, a tablet which provides up to 24 hour max strength allergy relief (suitable for children 6+ and adults).
That’s why we’re embarking on Piri’s Outdoor Pursuits: enabling families to get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors. Find out what happens as mum Colette, dad Dave and kids Ben, Chloe and Amy swap their house for a hut to spend a week learning about ecotherapy and wild living, while having fantastic family fun outdoors.
Meet Ben NcNutt - Wilderness Skills Expert
Born in rural County Donegal on the North West coast of Ireland, Ben McNutt, has a lifelong passion and respect for nature. He trained under survival expert, Ray Mears, before setting up on his own in 2001. From his base at the Lake District he runs Woodsmoke Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival courses, as well as leading survival expeditions around the world.
Ben is an expert in wild camping, wilderness skills and foraging and can teach the Burgess family everything they need to know to get the most from their outdoors adventure, from lighting a fire from scratch to where to pick the tastiest wild treats. His top tip for the family is to pack a good sense of humour as then whatever Mother Nature throws at you, you can keep on smiling!
